Using eBay Classifieds to get Opt in Leads and Market eBooks

This is a reprint of my post on Warrior Forum.

Guys I have been experimenting on how to set up a classified ad on eBay. I have been working on generating leeds for my Opt in List. I have also experimented selling ebooks on eBay. The Classified Ad is a good way to sell on ebay. You get a 30 day ad for $9.99. You get a lot of exposure using it.

You can get quick short term traffic using the 7 day listing. But one drawback is that you can not use affiliate links in 7 day ads. But with 30 classified ads on ebay you can.Where I said with 30 classified ebay ads. I meant 30 day classified ads.The insertion fee is 9.99. You are supposed to pay final value fee. But the way I am marketing affiliate products I never sell it on ebay. Insead I just use it as ad to get traffic from ebay. Then they buy through my affilaite link or they opt in to my list.If your going to sell 99 cent ebooks or your own ebooks you may be better off using the 7 day bid listing. The reason being is that you may get more traffic in a short period of time. This is because the items end in a shorter period of time. Most buys check out items that are ending the soonest. This is why the 7 day listing has an advantage. But according to the TOS you can't promote affiliate products by selling out side of ebay using the 7 day ad.

I have tried to combat the issue of not getting listed in the front of the search results first by doing a featured listing. You can feature your ad for a premium. This will put it on top of the listings in the gallary. There is also a premium to get your site listed on the front page of ebay. I have not paid to see if that works. But it looks promising. So far I am getting about as good of results with out the featured listing. But for the niche I am testing it on it may not have made that big of a difference. It may work a lot better on your niche. I have noticed some major campaigns going with mulitple featured listings of the same item by the same seller. Thus, I believe it is working for some.

I created a video showing how I created and use ebay for classified ads.Check it out on my site http://www.affiliateignition.com/ . Go to my site and scroll down to see the videos.
